A Real Snow Experience in the Heart of Brisbane

Robert Ulysses enjoyed every minute of the 55minute session!

He climbed the snow mountains (one big, one smaller) and independently tobogganed both slopes, time and time again.
He thought the snowball-making tongs were “very cool!” and were indeed helpful when moulding the fresh snow.
The inflatable snowmen proved formidable opponents and excellent target practice for snowball fights.

A five-star experience for toddlers and families. We can’t wait for next year!

VALUE

Although prices start from $25/55mins it's worth every cent, especially compared to the expense of actually travelling to the Snowy or overseas ski fields! They've also considered discounts for multiple adults to make it affordable for more than one parent to enjoy the experience too!

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Tickets were available online or at the venue. Purchasing online is recommended to avoid disappointment and protracted waiting during busy periods. Online sales produce electronic tickets that can be scanned from a smart device and printing is not required. All staff were friendly, helpful and sessions timings were strictly adhered to, so waiting was not a major issue. The organisers even provided free rain ponchos for adults and children while waiting in queue on a rainy day.

CONVENIENCE

Located temporarily in the South Bank Parklands it's an easy stroll from all public transport options. Parking at the parklands themselves is VERY expensive and overpriced, however, nearby car parks (i.e. Cultural Centre) and street parking are reasonably priced.

FUN FACTOR / AGE APPROPRIATENESS

Multiple activities to entertain children of varying skill and interests. While the tobogganing is the highlight for more adventurous children, the snow play stimulates the imagination for all. Suitable for toddlers 2y.o+ The separate snowman-making sessions may appeal more to 3y.o+

SAFETY

The snow and ice are slippery and cold. It's important to wear weather-appropriate clothing, help little-ones climb the slopes and be mindful of the conditions. The 55-minutes session is restricted numbers of children and adults which helps minimise over-crowdedness and the potential for injury. Staff members supervise the activities and are regularly on-hand to assist where necessary.

Wear Wet Weather Gear

No need to run out and buy a full ski suit but it is advised to pull on the Wellies, warm coats, beanies and gloves. Wherever possible wear water resistant clothing as the snow is cold and wet.

Merchandise

Don't have cold weather clothes? You can buy children's sized gumboots, snow gloves and other merchandise for both boys and girls at the Snow4Kids stand before going into your session.

Whether you plan on taking public transport or parking nearby, review your options and give yourself and the family plenty of time to arrive before your session starts.

Snow4Kids Park

Snow4Kids Park will have two snow mountains, one bigger and the other smaller, with each of them featuring our super fun toboggan slopes. We will have snowball throwing and general snowplay – all featuring fresh snow!

Snowman Making

The Snowman Making area will be fun for all ages! Build a snowman using fresh snow and bring it to life using our array of awesome decorations!
